Texts: Judges 4 and 5
The story of Yael and Sisera, found in Judges 4-5, is a pivotal narrative in the Hebrew Bible that showcases the victory of the Israelite army against the Canaanites… all made possible by two women!
These chapters include some of the most archaic Hebrew poetry in the Bible and feature a rare glimpse into the role of female prophets and visionaries in biblical times.
